The Opportunity: Southworth Clubs is seeking a Sales Development Representative. A resourceful, driven, team player with a competitive spirit and strong business acumen to help excel business development for Southworth Clubs. This role requires exceptional relationship-building and sales skills to join our team. The Sales Development role is the engine behind our market expansion. You are a critical part of our high performing sales team. You will be directly responsible for driving net-new pipeline for our onsite real estate teams. In many instances, the SDR is our first contact point which involves research, outreach, and communication to establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients. Your role is to educate prospects about Southworth Development's real estate and membership opportunities. Outlining the benefits of ownership and club privileges. You will harness your sales skills and knowledge that create qualified appointments for the onsite real estate team in a collective effort to close sales. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to build rapport and maintain professionalism during client interactions, including golf outings, prospect events, and other social engagements. This position is a hybrid/travel position that requires traveling to our club locations to meet with clients on-site.

Duties and Functions:

Real Estate, Membership, Retreats & Events Sales:



  • Strategically market and sell new real estate and club memberships to prospective clients through diverse channels, encompassing both in-person and online. This involves outbound sales efforts and following up on leads, digital marketing, attending networking events, and creating promotional materials.
  • Develop a deep understanding of club ownership benefits, pricing structures, and special offers to effectively communicate these to potential members.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly membership sales targets.
  • Employ sales technologies and HubSpot CRM to document and track sales activities.
  • Formulate a sales territories plan to facilitate prospecting efforts and enhance brand awareness.


Cultivate Member Relationships



  • Cultivate trust, understanding member needs, and fostering strong, lasting relationships with personalized solutions and ongoing support tailored to their preferences and goals. Foster member engagement, ensuring member retention, hosting various events, actively prospecting for new members, and collaborating with our real estate, marketing, and Retreats teams. The successful candidate will embody the welcoming essence of our membership program, playing a vital role in its growth through proficient sales strategies and the cultivation of positive relationships with our esteemed members.



Warm Lead Nurturing Specialist



  • Must be able to hit a high volume of daily calls. Outreach directly into prospects via cold-calls, text, emails, integrated marketing campaigns, LinkedIn campaigns and other methods. This position requires a strong ability to connect with people, disarm, challenge and intrigue in minutes. Maturely handle the highs and lows of a professional sales environment.


Communication



  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written resulting in a clear, concise, and articulate experience for the customer. Not intimidated by difficult objections, rejection, unpredictable personalities, and various decision makers


Qualify Leads



  • You have a knack for asking the right questions to qualify leads. You can articulate the Southworth values and benefits of the new product opportunities to a High-Net-worth clientele.


Teamwork



  • Must be comfortable in a supportive, team-orientated role. Work closely with in-market team leads and sales associates. Ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads for further engagement. Desire to learn, grow, and receive constructive feedback.


Research



  • Analyze addressable market in nascent geographies and create demand. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to optimize outreach strategies.


Goal Oriented



  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics and provide accurate guidance on quota attainment for number of appointments and number of closed deals. able to operate with both high output and quality and must have the utmost integrity in their work. Schedule meetings and appointments for the onsite sales team with qualified leads.


CRM and Data Driven



  • HubSpot CRM to manage a pipeline. Document all activities within our CRM, maintaining flawless data management. Logging calls, creating tasks, completing tasks, creating opportunities, entering proper notes and database management.



Qualifications Standards:



  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience with history of strong performance (SDR, Customer Success/Service, Direct Sales, Account Management)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
  • Persistence: A resilient and persistent mindset with the ability to handle rejection positively.
  • Passion for Golf and Social Engagements: Requires adeptness in cultivating relationships and maintaining professionalism during golf outings, prospect events, and other social engagements
  • Professional Appearance: A neat and professional appearance is required to represent our company.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, Hub Spot and sales automation software is a plus.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving sales environment.
  • Goal-Oriented: Driven by achieving and exceeding set targets and goals.
  • Travel: This position requires travel to our club locations
