Printpack is seeking an HR Manager for their Villa Rica, GA plant location. This position will report to the HR Operations Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Social Sciences, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience, leading a team
- HRCICertification desired
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience conducting employee relations discussions, conflict management, investigations, and coaching at all levels
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze situations and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Working knowledge of HR systems and procedures
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize the needs of the plant and the HR function
- Trusted resource and talent coach to support plant leadership
- Effective oral and written communication across multiple levels within the Organization
- Proficient analytical skills to assess and analyze talent analytics
- Business acumen
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
Essential Functions:
- Guide and advise leaders regarding employee matters including performance coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, Individual Development Plans, Talent Reviews, succession planning, merit planning, etc.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, coaching managers, and the progressive discipline process
- Provide guidance on workforce planning which may include organizational re-design work, job description creation and analysis, promotions, etc.
- Plan and implement recruitment and selection efforts; educate hiring managers about the selection process; take proactive measures to ensure a diverse workforce and provide recommendations on hiring decisions
- Lead the annual performance review process and coach managers on providing constructive feedback identifying high potential performers and coaching underperforming associates
- Design and implement HR programs to support Printpack cultureand support the engagement survey
- Lead HR team to support aligned business units and be responsible for the guidance and professional development of team members
