What the job involves:
We are currently seeking an Intern in Property Engineering join our team. The Intern will learn operations, inspections, and maintenance processes to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systems as well as building automation and controls. Topics will cover local, regional, and national code/compliance requirements, and working safely. The Engineer Intern will work under supervision of the onsite Chief/Lead Engineer and will report to program Director and Assistant Director.

As an Intern in Property Engineering at JLL, you will:
Learning the basics of building operations while assisting the engineering team in maintenance, repair and inspections of the building and equipment.
Assisting with general maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and automation.
Assist with completing assigned work orders or preventative maintenance tasks in Prism.
Maintain tools, parts, equipment, and supplies in clean and safe condition.
Participate in technical, safety and operational training programs as assigned.
Attend industry sponsored training programs (if available).
Complete other program materials and/or projects as assigned by Director or Assistant Director.
Handle any tenant issues regarding maintenance or service requests quickly, passing along urgent matter to General Manager, when appropriate.
Other duties as assigned by the General Manager falling within the reasonable expectations of an administrative position at a real estate services office.

Education, Skills, and Experience
Currently pursuing a degree in HVAC, electrical, or other related trade-school degrees
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable using ladders up to 30 feet tall.
Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, and lift.
Strong customer service skills.

We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program.

Permanent US work authorization required.
