Job Description
Compensation Overview:
  • Pay Scale $25.55 without Shift Premium.

  • Shift Premium of $1.00/hr on 3rd shift.

  • Hourly Bonus Program

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all related activities for spotting and shuttling trailers on and around the Champaign Complex

  • Responsible for wearing proper PPE, compliance of safety training, policy & procedures and report any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/Management.
  • Participate in the KHMS audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions regarding all spotting and shuttling activities.
  • The employee may lift up to 50 pounds in temperatures ranging from 0 to 110.
  • Learning all distribution's major job functions including loading/unloading,
  • Spotting semi-trailers and acting as a cross-town shuttle driver.
  • The employee will be required to use a computerized menu driven yard management system and operate material handling equipment.
  • Driver must have a valid Class A CDL and must disclose any history of previous CDL driving violations.
  • DOT Medical Card required.
  • Two years verifiable Class A commercial driving experience.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
