Heart Plaza Imaging is a busy outpatient cardiovascular diagnostic center. We perform nuclear cardiology exams, echocariogram exams, ultrasound vascular exams, venous ablation procedures, and non imaging cardiac stress testing.


Job Summary

Job Summary

  • Screens patient and obtains pertinent information.
  • Provide quality Nuclear Medicine imaging services.
  • Provide quality patient care during cardiac stress testing and assists with ultrasound procedures.
  • Responds to emergency care.
  • Maintain patient information records in the Nuclear Medicine department.
  • Maintain the department in working order.
  • Provide oversight for students rotating through the department.
  • Assist with clerical and other reporting duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Participate in at least 75% of scheduled department meetings.

Education

Completion of an accredited program in nuclear medicine, accredited by the American Medical Association.

Experience

Preferred but not required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.

American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment.


Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited program in nuclear medicine, accredited by the American Medical Association.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training or re-training will be required within 6 months of employment.

Schedule

Weekdays, 6:30am to 5:00pm, Days and Shifts vary with need.
