Perinatal Sonographer
Overview Performs ultrasound procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. Coordinates the day to day operations of the Perinatology Department. Responsibilities
Prepares patient for examination.
Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Or Equivalent required Graduate of an AMA school for diagnostic sonography required Work Experience: Related Experience Preferred Additional Experience Requirements Previous experience post-training preferred. Licenses and Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Required CPR certification ARDMS OB/GYN certification Nuchal Translucency certification Fetal Echocardiography certification 1st Trimester certified Required Knowledge and Skills: Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
