About the Department
The Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Department in the Poole College of Management is home to faculty in the areas of business law, entrepreneurship, human resources management, organizational behavior, and strategic management. Faculty work closely with our centers and initiatives, which include the Entrepreneurship Clinic and the Technology Entrepreneurship Commercialization ( TEC) program. At both the undergraduate and MBA level, there is an emphasis on developing an entrepreneurial mindset in the curriculum through coursework and practicum.

Essential Job Duties
The Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Department is accepting applications for the position of Non-Tenure Track Faculty Lecturer (part-time). Non-Tenure Track Faculty positions are one-semester or one year, with the possibility of renewal. Applications will remain on file for one year should openings arise in subsequent semesters.

Successful candidates will teach 1 to 3 courses for the BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) and/or MBA (Masters of Business Administration). Teaching is in one of the following areas: business law, entrepreneurship, human resources management, organizational behavior, and strategic management. Teaching locations include our main campus in Raleigh, our Research Triangle Park ( RTP) MBA campus, and the potential for summer school and study abroad courses.

Specific hiring needs for the upcoming academic year have yet to be determined.
Other Responsibilities

  • Contributing member of the department, College, and University.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Other Required Qualifications

  • Excellent teaching ability.
  • A commitment to the success of our students and programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree or equivalent in appropriate field.
  • Prior university teaching experience preferred, but not required.
