Internal Candidates Must Call HR Office and Speak with Verenice at (706)602-6259 Title: Press Operator Department: Rubber Shift: 3rd Shift 11pm-7am INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST CALL HR OFFICE (706)602-6259 Summary: Responsible for inserting a rubber preform (uncured rubber) into a press, removing the hot cured rubber and hand trimming the waste by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Will need to read and understand a schedule while using a computer interface to record production Preform and understand critical quality checks and be able to accurately measure specifications Will need to insert and remove rubber weighting 15 pounds into a press that is 300 degrees Fahrenheit Need to trim and hand stack cured tile ? Will need to preform quality check before and after the material is cured Will need strong communication skills, a teamwork mindset and be able to work in tandem with another associate Operator must rotate positions with the Waterjet Operator, Tile Punch Press Operator, and Refining Mill Overtime is/may be required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
