Application Window Open date: November 7, 2023 Next review date: Friday, Jan 31, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The UCSF Department of Medicine invites applications for the ranks of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Adjunct, Health Sciences Clinical, In Residence, or Clinical X series in the Division of Nephrology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). Applications are welcome from individuals with a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic academic Nephrology program and make an individual contribution to scholarship in research, education, administration or health policy. The initial appointment level, as well as the amount of time to be spent on clinical vs. scholarly activity will depend upon the applicant's qualifications, career interests, and promise. Applicants must possess an MD degree and be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology. Clinical duties may include rotating on an inpatient consultation service in a safety-net hospital; caring for outpatients in a specialty clinic; managing patients with end-stage kidney disease requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or kidney transplant; and performing kidney biopsies. Teaching opportunities may involve medical students, residents, advanced practice clinicians, and nephrology fellows. Please apply online at: https://aprecruit.ucsf.edu/JPF04799. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100.
