Long Term Substitute: Early Childhood Family Education Instructional Paraprofessional (0.5 FTE)

The Richfield Public School District is currently accepting applications for a part-time (0.5 FTE) Long-Term Substitute: Early Childhood Family Education Instructional Paraprofessional at Central Education Center. This role will work with children birth-5 in the ECFE program. This assignment will start end of November 2026 through end of March 2027.

Qualifications:

Must be highly qualified, providing supporting documentation; having 1 of the 3 listed below:

1. Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education (Transcripts).
2. An Associate's degree or higher (Transcript).
3. Obtained a passing score on the MN-approved assessment or ParaEducator, which measures math and reading skills (Certificate).

Preferred:

• Spanish Fluency preferred.
• Experience working in an early childhood or similar environment preferred.

Pay Rate: $23.83 (Substitutes are placed at the Step 1 of the Classification they are subbing for).

Hours:
Tuesdays: 8:15- 3:15 p.m.
Wednesdays: 8:15- 12:45 p.m.
Thursdays: 10:45- 3:15 p.m.
Fridays: 8:15-12:45 p.m.
