The role is heavily focused on customer service, patient experience, unit coordination, and administrative support within a hospital setting.

Core Responsibilities:

Serve as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff
Help ensure a positive patient experience
Coordinate information flow within the nursing unit
Perform clerical and administrative duties
Support nursing unit operations
Identify and escalate issues appropriately
Communicate timely information to leadership and care teams

Schedule:

First shift - Full-Time
8 hour position
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Monday thru Friday
Every other weekend
Every other holiday

Summary

Serves as a liaison between the patient, family, hospital staff and physicians to ensure a favorable patient experience and efficient coordination of unit flow. Responsible for a variety of clerical and non-clerical duties that support the overall operations of the nursing unit as well as the optimal delivery of care within the health system. Routinely engaged in identifying, elevating and providing alternative solutions to challenges to appropriate personnel. Provides timely information to decision-making personnel.
