About the Role:

The Senior Recruiter serves as a strategic talent advisor and full-cycle recruiting expert responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across professional, technical, operations, and leadership positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leaders to develop recruiting strategies, execute proactive sourcing plans, assess talent, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.

The Senior Recruiter plays a critical role in supporting workforce planning initiatives, strengthening talent pipelines, improving recruiting processes, and delivering hiring outcomes that enable business growth.

Your Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire high-quality candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job specifications, and qualifications.
  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions.
  • Drive accountability for interview feedback and process timelines.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for salaried exempt positions across multiple business functions.
  • Develop customized recruiting strategies based on market conditions, talent availability, and business priorities.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Screen and evaluate candidates through resume reviews, interviews, and assessments to determine suitability for specific roles.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact through offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities using applicant tracking systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously enhance capabilities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that improve efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to promote Wabash as an employer of choice.
  • Mentor other recruiters and contribute to the development of recruitment best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned



Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with a focus on corporate functions hiring. Manufacturing, Industrial, Supply Chain, or Engineering recruiting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ADP preferred) and other recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Key success factors for this role include strong organizational skills, time-management, action oriented, ensuring accountability, and managing ambiguity.
