The VP of Quality and Food Safety provides strategic leadership and guidance for the corporation's quality program in a multi-state, multi-facility environment. Responsibilities include developing, improving, maintaining, and refining the Corporation's quality standards and programs to ensure the manufacture of products that meet/exceed our customers' and Flowers' expectations, as well as promoting Quality throughout the organization. The VP of Quality and Food Safety has authority to connect with plants, warehouses, offices, etc. to promptly rectify all non-compliance issues. The role requires a leader who has the vision, energy, and passion for Quality, to see opportunities and inspire others to succeed by motivating, attracting, and retaining top talent, including developing others in the Quality area of the organization into positions with greater responsibility. Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
* Leads, develops, and mentors a high-performing Quality and Food Safety organization while serving as the company's subject matter expert on quality, food safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
* 10-15 years' progressive experience in quality management with a food manufacturer or other CPG company Additional Ingredients: Essential Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related field Salary Range- 165000 -170000 We offer a competitive salary up to $170k and an excellent total rewards package.
