What You'll Do:
  • Architect and design high-reliability power electronics, including DC/DC converters, inverters, motor drives, and related power subsystems.
  • Lead circuit design, simulation, component selection, schematic development, and collaborate on PCB layout, thermal management, and EMI/EMC considerations.
  • Drive hardware bring-up, integration, troubleshooting, verification, and qualification activities, using structured root-cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and review engineering specifications, design reviews, test plans, and verification documentation to ensure rigorous design execution.
  • Provide technical mentorship while partnering with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to deliver solutions that meet demanding aerospace and defense requirements.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing power electronics for aerospace, defense, industrial, or other high-reliability applications.
  • 8+ years of experience in designing DC-DC power converters or closely related power conversion circuits.
  • 8+ years of experience in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Cadence Allegro, Altium).
  • 8+ years of experience using simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and Mathcad.
  • 8+ years of MOSFET experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in supporting hardware through the full product lifecycle from architecture through qualification and production.
  • 8+ years of experience in Parts Derating.
  • 8+ years of experience in Power integrity analysis.
  • 8+ years of experience in Power supply Flyback topology.
  • 8+ years of experience in Various loading impacts (Resistive / Reactive).
  • 8+ years of experience in WCA Worst-Case Analysis.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics.
  • Good understanding of power semiconductor devices.
  • IGBT, SiC, and GaN experience.
  • Good communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
  • Experience developing electronics for harsh-environment or space applications.
  • Experience with radiation-tolerant or radiation-hardened electronics.
  • Experience with motor control, reliability analysis (FMEA/MTBF), or system integration.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design reviews.
