Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and quality procedures. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Experience Requirements Previous quality inspection, manufacturing, production, assembly, or automotive experience preferred. Experience using measuring tools, gauges, micrometers, or testing equipment is a plus. Familiarity with quality standards, defect identification, and documentation processes preferred. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to identify defects and non-conforming materials accurately. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to workplace safety. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to handle and inspect small automotive components. Good vision, including the ability to identify defects, measurements, and product variations. Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment safely and accurately. Job Duties Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on automotive parts and components. Sort, test, inspect, and rework products according to customer specifications and quality standards. Use gauges, go/no-go gauges, micrometers, and other inspection equipment to verify product compliance. Identify, document, and mark defective or non-conforming materials. Complete quality records, inspection reports, tags, and required production paperwork accurately. Utilize hand tools such as crimpers, drills, and files when performing rework activities. Maintain product integrity while adhering to all company safety and quality procedures. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
