Maintenance Technician

Join a growing manufacturing team as a Maintenance Technician responsible for supporting equipment reliability, facility maintenance, and production uptime. This role works closely with the Maintenance Manager and Team Lead to ensure machinery, equipment, and facility systems operate safely and efficiently while meeting production goals.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical, vocational, mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance training is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions.

Experience Requirements

• Previous maintenance, industrial maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, material handling equipment, or industrial machinery.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and equipment inspections preferred.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in varying positions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move tools, parts, and equipment as needed.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.
• Ability to work around machinery and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work overtime as required to support production demands.

Job Duties

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and production systems.
• Work with the Maintenance Manager and Team Lead to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Complete daily maintenance tasks and support production equipment performance.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and maintenance equipment in proper working condition.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with repairs to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and PPE requirements.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Participate in required training and assist with additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
