The Environmental Services (EVS) Training & Quality Supervisor is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others succeed. This role is responsible for leading the Job Readiness and Learning Program (JRLP) for Environmental Services team members, overseeing training and quality initiatives, and serving as a key member of the EVS leadership team.

We're looking for someone who naturally connects with people, demonstrates empathy, and enjoys coaching and developing others. The ideal candidate understands that successful training goes beyond teaching job skills. It involves building trust, fostering confidence, providing support through challenges, and helping team members reach their full potential.

In this role, you will collaborate with Human Resources, Workforce Development, Carle Experience, Quality, and operational leaders to recruit, train, and support EVS team members. You will help shape the employee experience from the moment a candidate joins the department by coordinating onboarding, facilitating training, conducting follow-up coaching, and ensuring employees have the tools and support needed to succeed.

As a leader, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the training curriculum, conducting quality audits, identifying trends, and implementing solutions that improve both employee performance and operational outcomes. You will also serve as a resource for front-line staff, assisting with professional development, work-life balance challenges, and conflict resolution while promoting a culture of accountability, engagement, and respect.

This position plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and service standards of all hospital facilities. Working closely with the EVS leadership team, you will help ensure departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards are consistently met while supporting regulatory and safety requirements.

The successful candidate will be a relationship builder, coach, and mentor who is committed to developing a skilled workforce and creating opportunities for individuals in our community. They will be comfortable providing constructive feedback, teaching in both classroom and hands-on settings, and balancing compassion with accountability.
