Technical Deployment Lead Contingent Worker About the Team The Collaboration Programs team delivers seamless collaboration experiences across Metas global offices designing, deploying, and maintaining the video conferencing, production, and collaboration technology that powers how Meta communicates, from executive boardrooms to allhands event spaces. This role sits within the regional deployment operations function, working across programs across the US region. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Deployment Lead Contingent Worker to provide seniorlevel coordination and delivery stewardship across a portfolio of collaborationtechnology initiatives spanning multiple global sites. Key Responsibilities CrossProgram Coordination portfoliolevel Maintain a consolidated, crossprogram view of status, milestones, dependencies, and risk across multiple concurrent global initiatives, keeping senior stakeholders informed Provide senior stakeholders with clear, current visibility of overall program health across the portfolio Coordinate alignment across programs so schedules, dependencies, and handoff points are clearly defined and tracked CrossFunctional Stakeholder Coordination Drive alignment across facilities, IT, security, workplace services, and delivery partners so dependencies are visible and managed Establish and run the right cadences standups, reviews across active programs Serve as the senior coordination point across workstreams, proactively resolving schedule conflicts and dependency blockers Risk, Status Reporting Track and report program health, risks, and blockers across the portfolio escalate early with recommended options Produce consolidated reporting that rolls multiple programs into a single view for leadership Production Event Space Programs Coordinate readiness across specialty production spaces, event venues, and broadcast environments Ensure operationalreadiness milestones are tracked and met ahead of handover to production teams HandsOn Delivery Support Roll up sleeves on active deployments where needed supporting procurement workflows PO creation and tracking and verifying equipment delivery against plan Maintain BOM accuracy and deployment records site inventories, commissioning documentation Participate in commissioning, readiness testing, and signoff of completed spaces Interpret and mark up deployment drawings AutoCADBluebeam to convey design intent to vendors and trades where required Standards Continuity Help ensure programs run to Metas quality standards support the refinement of playbooks and SOPs contribute to postprogram reviews Requirements Must Have: 6 years in program coordination technical program delivery, including experience across multiple concurrent, multisite or global programs Proven ability to bring structure and momentum to large, interdependent initiatives with competing priorities Strong crossfunctional coordination experience at a senior stakeholder level Excellent written and verbal communication able to brief senior stakeholders clearly and concisely Working familiarity with AVVC and collaboration technology enough to coordinate delivery credibly: conference room and eventspace equipment Comfortable operating across time zones US time zones Pacific primary, with EastCentral coverage Comfortable working with event and production space technology Nice to Have: Background in enterprise AVIT or collaborationtechnology program environments Experience coordinating large, multisite or multipartner programs Familiarity with Metas collaboration technology stack or equivalent enterprise platforms Knowledge of event production environments broadcast, live events, studio operations Working Arrangements Location: Menlo Park, CA Meta office Type: Contingent Worker direct enrollment Duration: 2.5 years with potential extension based on program needs Travel: 50, mainly within the US region Reporting: Regional Program Manager US Scope Classification This is a senior individualcontributor Contingent Worker role. It operates at a senior level in scope and complexity, but consistent with Metas contingentworker classification it does not carry FTE responsibilities. Specifically, the role does not include: People management of FTEs or other workers Budget ownership or spendapproval authority Longterm strategy, planning, or goalsetting ownership Independent vendor selection or contracting authority The role coordinates and provides visibility across programs ownership of strategy, budget, staffing, and final decisions remains with Meta FTEs.
