About the Job

This position will be supporting faculty and administrative staff in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. The successful candidate will have a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. The work requires excellent organization, prioritization and follow-through skills.
This position is located at the University of Minnesota on the East Bank.

Responsibilities:
* (80%) Update and maintain database
* (10%) Perform filing/record keeping, photocopying, faxing, and shredding
* (5%) Monitor inventory of office supplies
* (5%) Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, seasonal projects, one-time special projects, assisting office with administrative tasks

Qualifications

Required:
* Highschool diploma or equivalent
* Availability to work 10-15 hours per week during scheduled office hours
* Available to work weekdays and will be available over the summer break
* Previous experience in an office setting
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive documentation
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Ability to travel to various locations across campus for pickup and delivery

Preferred:
* Strong communication and computer skills
* Attention to detail
* Interest in Medicine/Lab or Finance/Accounting a plus

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range:$15.25 per hour depending on education/qualifications/experience.
