THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support a global audio-visual and collaboration technology environment while driving operational excellence across our service portfolio. You will serve as a subject matter expert for audio-visual and collaboration services, provide support for live and virtual events, and contribute to strategic projects that enhance and scale our global technology capabilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITES: Operations and Service Delivery Maintain the health, performance, and reliability of the global video conferencing and collaboration environment. Troubleshoot and resolve audio-visual, conferencing, and event support incidents, including hardware, software, and vendor-related issues. Manage video interoperability platforms and service providers to ensure service levels and key performance indicators are achieved. Leverage AI-enabled tools, dashboards, and analytics to measure service performance and drive continuous improvement. Manage incidents, requests, changes, and operational activities through ServiceNow. Support executive and critical priority incidents, providing timely communication and escalation as needed. Operate, maintain, test, and upgrade conferencing technologies, infrastructure, and lab environments. Technology Strategy and Continuous Improvement Serve as an escalation point for complex technical and engineering issues. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, site expansions, and deployment projects. Maintain fleet standards, product inventories, utilization reporting, and lifecycle management plans. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations aligned with AMD's AMD-on-AMD strategy. Identify operational trends and implement solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, scalability, and user experience. Manage vendor relationships and support successful project and service delivery outcomes. Develop AI-driven solutions and automation opportunities to improve operational effectiveness. Partner with stakeholders and senior leadership to gather feedback, influence roadmaps, and drive continuous improvement. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Experience supporting a fast-paced, high-availability audio-visual and collaboration services environment. Demonstrated project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope. Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting and engaging with C-level executives. Experience leveraging AI technologies for operational enablement, reporting, automation, and analytics. Experience supporting enterprise video conferencing and collaboration platforms, including Cisco and Poly video endpoints, Webex Control Hub, Poly Lens, Zoom Meetings, and Zoom Webinars. Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Vyopta, ThousandEyes, Splunk, or similar tools. Experience with AV infrastructure and integrated technologies, including Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Shure, Sony, Samsung, and video wall solutions. Experience supporting video engineering, AV operations, service delivery, and technology deployment initiatives. Experience developing and improving operational processes, governance frameworks, and service management practices. Experience creating dashboards, metrics, and data-driven reporting to measure service performance and business outcomes. Familiarity with automation and programming languages such as Python, C/C++, SIMPL, Lua, or similar technologies. Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and cross-functional partnership skills.
