Pay: Starting at $24.00 - $30.00+ (Based on experience + Shift Differential!)

Hours: 1st Shift / 7:00AM - 5:30PM, 2nd Shift / 1:00PM - 11:30PM, 3rd Shift / 7:00PM - 5:30AM

Days: Monday (or Sunday) through Thursday - Overtime on Friday possible

The Senior Production Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of blending and/or extrusion equipment used to manufacture customer products. This position helps ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining the highest quality standards and meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements.

• Set up, start, and operate blending and extrusion equipment according to established procedures.
• Weigh, prepare, and process raw materials according to product formulations and specifications.
• Ensure correct ingredients and materials are delivered to designated work areas.
• Monitor production processes and equipment performance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment, processing, and product quality issues.
• Operate equipment to manufacture products that meet customer and quality requirements.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks to verify conformance to specifications.
• Collect samples and work with Quality Control to ensure products meet required standards.
• Follow quality and laboratory instructions to make process adjustments when needed.
• Label, package, and prepare finished products.
• Complete and maintain SAP transactions, production records, and required documentation accurately.
• Operate forklifts, tow motors, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with training and sharing best practices with team members as needed.
• Perform equipment cleaning and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Follow all ISO, Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or other comparable relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience operating forklifts, tow motors, or similar material handling equipment.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems and performing SAP transactions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely operate production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8-10 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in an extrusion manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with blending, compounding, or similar manufacturing processes.
• Experience training or assisting less experienced operators.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and/or hear. Occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally handle up to 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with the exception of high noise areas. Proper personal safety equipment needs to be used while performing this job and that equipment
is dictated by the plant safety guidelines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemical dust, and risk of electric shock, vibration, non-hazardous chemical agents and outside weather conditions. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
