Senior Cloud Solutions Architect (Senior Consultant, Engineering & Technical Services) At Fearless, we are seeking a Senior Data Architect as part of our Senior Consultant, Engineering & Technical Services career path to lead the modernization of cloud applications within an AWS environment. This individual will partner with business stakeholders to design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure cloud-native solutions while implementing CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AI-assisted software development, and operational support for a major customer platform. At Fearless, this Senior Consultant collaborates with cross functional teams to align the technical vision, implementation, and quality of software systems across development, reliability, testing, and operations.This role will possess the skills to be able to bridge business objectives with technical execution in software development, infrastructure, security, and testing at an advanced application level of proficiency. The Sr. Consultant role will work on projects that allow them to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions whilementoring engineers, fostering collaboration, and aligning stakeholders with product and project goals. Work Location * This role operates largely in a remote capacity. * Occasional travel to the customer location in Washington, DC may be required to support collaboration with federal stakeholders. Fearless Your Responsibilities in this Role: * Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AWS-native technical solutions. * Design and implement scalable AWS architectures using S3, Glue, Lambda, and related cloud services. * Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation. * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodeCommit. * Utilize GitHub Copilot and Visual Studio Code to improve engineering productivity. * Develop automated testing using Python SDKs. * Perform Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support and minor platform enhancements. * Produce SOPs, architecture documentation, and operational runbooks. * Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and cloud governance. Work Experience PROJECT SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Minimum of 10 years of experience designing enterprise data architectures, with at least 5 years focused on cloud-native data platforms. * Experience working at or in support of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), with knowledge of SEC business processes, systems, and regulatory mission. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. * Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance. * Experience as an AWS Solutions Architect designing and implementing cloud-native solutions. * Proven experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, and S3 in production environments. * Proficiency with AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code. * Demonstrated experience with Python and GitHub in software development workflows. * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in DevSecOps environments. * Familiarity with GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted software development. * Working knowledge of AWS security standards and cloud governance practices. * Experience working in Agile Scrum environments. Preferred Experience, Skills, and Certifications * AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional. * AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional. * Security+, CISSP, or other Security Certification. * Experience supporting Treasury, IRS, CFPB, FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve, or similar regulatory agencies. * Experience mentoring engineering teams and driving outcomes across multiple stakeholders. The salary range for this position is: Minimum Salary: $120,588 Salary Midpoint: $156,764 Maximum Salary: $195,955 Hiring Range for Role: $120,588 - $165,000 *This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance criteria.
