Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Computer Support Specialist - Data & Survey Operations to support data collection, online survey administration, provider communication, and technical coordination in a fast-paced environment. This position combines data operations, quality assurance, stakeholder support, and technical coordination to ensure the accuracy and integrity of survey data. This is not a traditional help desk or desktop support role. The ideal candidate has experience with survey administration, database management, data validation, Microsoft Office applications, and communicating technical information to nontechnical users.

Job Responsibilities



  • Administer online surveys by opening, monitoring, and closing surveys according to established schedules.
  • Verify survey availability and ensure survey timelines are maintained.
  • Communicate survey launches, deadlines, and status updates to participating organizations.
  • Follow up with participants regarding incomplete or missing survey submissions.
  • Review submitted data for completeness, accuracy, inconsistencies, and data anomalies.
  • Coordinate data quality reviews and request corrections or clarifications as needed.
  • Monitor and report survey participation, response rates, and data quality metrics.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users and internal technical support teams.
  • Submit, monitor, and track requests for software, hardware, and technical support.
  • Communicate technical issues, system errors, and data concerns to appropriate internal teams.
  • Assist users with data tools and promote data management best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with established data collection, privacy, processing, and reporting procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Experience supporting survey administration, data collection, data validation, or quality assurance processes.
  • Strong experience working with complex databases and data reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and processes to nontechnical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating or maintaining data dictionaries is preferred.
  • Experience mapping data across multiple databases or systems is preferred.
  • Experience communicating with external organizations, customers, or internal stakeholders is preferred.
  • Exposure to SQL, Tableau, Python, or R is preferred.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree preferred.


Work Experience



  • Experience supporting survey administration, data collection, quality assurance, or database operations preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment preferred.
  • Experience with database management, reporting, and data validation preferred.
  • Experience communicating with external partners, providers, customers, or internal stakeholders preferred.
