JOB SUMMARY Our newly UCSF Dentistry clinic is a high-volume, multi-specialty dental clinic located in the city of San Mateo. This flagship practice is designed with a strong emphasis on technology, integrated care, and an exceptional patient experience. Under the supervision of the clinic supervisor, the Registered Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist provider in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients. The incumbent prepares operatory for patient treatment, exposes and develops dental radiographs and performs independent procedures as delegated and directed by the provider. Additionally, the RDA maintains dental equipment and work areas in compliance with UCSF policies and procedures relative to infection control and safety issues; maintains adequate operatory supplies and assists with various clinical and administrative functions as appropriate.
