Primary Function

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, bin maintenance, and ensuring proper flow of materials and finished goods within warehouse and production areas.

Responsibilities

Complete daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

Perform daily bin maintenance activities

Research and report inventory discrepancies to the Inventory Control Supervisor

Ensure FIFO is followed

Operate a fork lift

Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) to prepare spreadsheets, charts, graphs, and monthly inventory status reports

Execute inventory transfers to correct discrepancies

Assist LTOs during system or radio failures or periods of increased product demand

Ensure timely supply of raw materials and components to production areas

Accurately record finished goods into the appropriate warehouse locations

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 year of related inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email usage

Experience with inventory management systems (WMS or ERP preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Education
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance
