2nd Shift Early Nuclear Manager of Operations
Overview Overall Responsibilities of an Operations Manager- Nuclear (2nd Shift): Reporting to the Director of Operations for Early Nuclear Builds and Steel, this Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the execution of all nuclear work from early component arrival through Reactor Compartment End Load. The candidate must manage the performance of multiple nuclear trades departments to achieve safety, quality, cost and schedule initiatives. Candidates must be able to effectively work with Department Resource managers to ensure early nuclear work milestones are achieved on schedule to support follow on key events. Candidate shall have effective problem-solving skills and must be able to promote a positive team environment and be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills. Candidate must be fully cognizant of OSHA requirements relating to specific trades and will be held accountable for enforcement of standards and shipyard safety practices. Must be able to interpret and implement all job requirements utilizing EB systems and procedures.
