Summary:
Reporting to the Financial Accounting Director, this position manages MaineHealth Corp.'s accounting staff and is responsible for the recording, reporting, and interpretation of financial data and information. Serves as the department administrator in the absence of the Director.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  2. Licenses/Certifications: CPA certificate preferred
  3. Experience: 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  4. Analytical skills to collect pertinent information necessary to prepare, reconcile and analyze financial statements and reports.
  5. Knowledge of accounting principles and accounting systems to maintain general ledgers and journals.
  6. Ability to prepare financial statements.
  7. Computer literacy is required. Extensive knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products preferred.
  8. Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective on-going relationships and communications with various constituencies within and external to the organizations.
  9. Ability to speak and write effectively; communicating clearly through work paper schedules, memoranda, financial reports, and discussions with Medical Center personnel.

The pay range for this position is $97,177.60to $131,497.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).

In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offerscomprehensivebenefits, recognition programs, career growth opportunities, and,where applicable,shiftdifferentials or other incentives.
