We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Client Service Management (Private Banking Associate) to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. The Private Banking Associate (PBA) serves as the primary sales support partner to Private Bankers and is responsible for the end-to-end onboarding and maintenance of private banking relationships. This role supports a seamless client experience across deposit and lending products through strong operational execution, relationship support, and risk management. Key Responsibilities
- Support Private Bankers in the acquisition, onboarding, and expansion of client relationships.
- Participate in client meetings, coordinate follow-up activities, and assist with pipeline progression through funding.
- Own the onboarding process for new banking and lending relationships.
- Gather and validate client information required for account opening and regulatory review.
- Complete and coordinate KYC, AML, CIP, beneficial ownership, and related due diligence requirements.
- Manage onboarding timelines, documentation, approvals, and exception resolution.
- Support onboarding and maintenance for deposit products, including checking, savings, money market, CDs, cash management accounts, and complex ownership structures.
- Support onboarding for private banking lending products, including investment credit lines, securities-based lending, residential lending, and other credit solutions.
- Partner with bankers, underwriters, credit teams, KYC, and operations to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Identify and escalate operational, compliance, documentation, and fraud risks.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for onboarding requirements and complex account structures, including trusts, estates, LLCs, family partnerships, businesses, and family office relationships.
To be successful in the role, we are seeking the following:
- 10+ years of total work experience in an operational and/or client services field is preferred.
- Experience supporting client onboarding, account opening, or relationship management within private banking, wealth management, or financial services.
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, CIP, beneficial ownership, and related onboarding requirements.
- Familiarity with deposit products, lending processes, and client documentation requirements.
- Experience handling complex account structures, including trusts and entities.
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- High attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong risk awareness.
