Your role

As a Service Technician, your mission is to facilitate growth of Power Technique's Aftermarket through a strong commitment to the delivery of high-quality maintenance, repair and overhaul of portable air compressors, dewatering pumps, and generators providing our customers with a one stop solution for all of their service needs.

You will report to the Service Center Manager.

Responsibilities include:



  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide high quality repairs on all makes of mechanical and electronic diesel engines.

  • Diagnose malfunctioning compressors, pumps, and generators, to determine possible causes of failures, and perform repairs.

  • Support all Atlas Copco and multi-brand products by performing routine preventive maintenance and repairs.
  • Provide high level of customer service, by communicating with the customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
  • Train and assist other service technicians to increase overall workshop engine competency.
  • Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Provide basic tools for job along with normal maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Some overtime work is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position requires a high school diploma and aminimum of 3 years of experience performing service on major brand equipment and engines, and including electronic engine diagnosis and troubleshooting experience

  • Must be a self-starter with good communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform all technical test and procedures and provide written summary of all tasks executed.
  • Able to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, order parts and repair engines and equipment.
  • Able to initiate and maintain interpersonal relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Able to work in adverse conditions, including extremes in temperature.
  • Able to represent the Company in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrates independent decision-making skills.
  • Must be creative in developing innovative and beneficial methods of completing repairs, even when limited resources are available.
  • Must be highly self-motivated, with the ability to think ahead, work with minimal supervision and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Demonstrates a high level of customer service focus.
  • Demonstrates basic intelligence, mechanical aptitude, good character, and the ability to communicate both written and orally with internal and external customers. Including email etiquette, email communication, proficiency in Excell and electronic based parts systems.

This position offers an hourly pay range of $31.60-$39.50, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, and job-related qualifications.

This role requires you to work on-siteinAnaheim CA, United States (US). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.

Occasional travel to customer sites or offsite training may be required.
