Medical Receptionist Rockville MD Pay From: $21 Per Hour MUST: Experienced Medical Receptionist with strong phone experience 3 years of recent experience in a multi provider private practice medical office Primary care or internal medicine preferred Experience answering a high volume of phone calls Checking patients in and out Scheduling and confirming appointments Verifying insurance Managing inboxes and making sure patient requests are addressed Printing orders and sending requested documents, including pre-op notes Reviewing and distributing faxes Experience with Athena a plus Strong customer service support Ability to triage phone calls Handling translations for Spanish speaking patients High School Diploma or GED DUTIES: Answer a high volume of phone calls Provide customer service support Schedule appointments Manage inboxes and ensure patient requests are addressed Verify and update patient information in Athena EMR Verify insurance Check patients in and out Respond to patient inquiries Print orders out and send pre op notes and required documents Handle translations for Spanish speaking patients Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
