Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Own Valley's social strategy and roadmap, aligning the channel to enterprise brand, marketing, reputation, and business priorities.
- Translate major priorities--growth, acquisition, engagement, community impact, employer brand, and enterprise storytelling--into focused annual and quarterly plans.
- Use social listening, audience insights, competitive signals, and performance data to shape strategy and keep Valley relevant.
- Lead the content strategy, editorial calendar, and platform approach across Valley's social channels.
- Turn business priorities into platform-native content that is clear, useful, distinctive, and built to earn attention.
- Guide creative development so content reflects Valley's voice, brand promise, customer needs, and regulatory expectations.
- Act as the social strategy partner to Marketing, Communications, Product, HR, Retail, Customer Care, and Executive Leadership.
- Influence how enterprise priorities show up across social, ensuring messages are connected, timely, and audience-first.
- Build associate advocacy programs that help employees share Valley stories confidently and appropriately.
- Set governance, publishing workflows, access controls, escalation paths, and response standards that help teams move quickly and responsibly.
- Ensure social activity meets banking regulations, company policies, brand standards, accessibility requirements, and record retention guidelines.
- Monitor engagement, customer concerns, sentiment, and reputation risks; coordinate responses with Customer Care, Communications, and Legal/Compliance as needed.
- Manage day-to-day execution across channels, campaigns, agencies, tools, and platform partners.
- Measure performance across reach, engagement, sentiment, traffic, conversion signals, efficiency, and business impact.
- Deliver executive-ready reporting that shows what is working, what is changing, and where to optimize next.
