POSITION SUMMARY: Supervise and coordinate activities of medical support staff in the respective clinic(s). Direct and instruct Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants. Provide primary patient care, acting as an assistant to the physicians/advanced practice providers according to established standards and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Education: Bachelors' degree with a major in Nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school of nursing. Currently hold unrestricted license to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin. * Experience: Two years (+) middle management experience and 5+ years clinical experience. * Expertise: Knowledge of evaluation plans and treatment of clients. Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles. Skilled in patient care. Ability to effectively communicate. Skill in the use of medical equipment utilized in area of assignment. Intermediate knowledge of relevant computer software and use of EMR. * Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. * Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. * Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. * Hours of Work: Approximately 40 hours per week but may vary based upon Organizational needs. * Travel: May vary based on Organizational need. | |
