Job Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that support Shared Services, Finance, and operational excellence objectives. This role partners with business and IT stakeholders to successfully deliver projects, drive process improvements, support automation initiatives, and ensure measurable business value. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong relationship builder, and results-oriented leader who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and overall project performance.
- Partner with business leaders, Shared Services teams, and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and develop practical solutions to business challenges.
- Drive process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen controls, enhance customer experience, and deliver measurable business value.
- Facilitate collaboration across functional teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful execution of project goals.
- Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and recommendations to project sponsors and leadership teams.
- Lead change management, testing, and implementation activities to support successful adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks and issues while driving timely and effective solutions.
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives, including serving as a key liaison between Shared Services and IT teams.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, governance standards, reporting tools, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization.

Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Prior experience in project management and leadership positions within a mid-to-large organization or organization of comparable size.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Experience in Shared Services, Finance, Operations, or a related business environment preferred. Experience supporting plant operations is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project management tools.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to effectively manage project teams, coordinate resources across functions, and lead through influence rather than direct authority.
- Experience leading process improvement, business transformation, automation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to identify, manage, and coordinate business and technology resources necessary to successfully deliver project objectives.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple functional areas.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as business needs require.
