Reston, VA Pay From: $30 per hour MUST: 2 + years of experience as Licensed Practical Nurse Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the state of Virginia Must have BLS certification Must have strong injection experience Must be comfortable educating patient about the covid vaccine Must be comfortable working a phone triage position and dealing with call ins Must assess patients over the phone Must be comfortable working with patients from Pediatric to Geriatric Must have strong clinical experience Must be able to travel between multiple locations Team player, compassionate, attention to detail DUTIES: Duties include but are not limited to the following: Take calls from patients Go to community events Educate patients on covid vaccine Admistor covid vaccine Travel to different event sites Acts in the capacity of the triage nurse or float nurse when needed Triage calls Assess patients over the phone Preparing rooms and rooming patients Taking histories, obtaining vitals Giving injections, immunizations, infusions, allergy shots, etc. Phlebotomy Assisting doctors with procedures Patient Education Collect specimens and perform basic lab tests (i.e. influenza, strep) Preform tests/procedures (spirometry, EKG, vision testing, etc.) Entering patient information electronically into EMR Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
