What to Expect Tesla's continued success depends on engineers being able to develop, debug, and deploy software quickly. Our mobile app build, deployment and testing infrastructure directly impacts our Vehicle, Energy, and Autopilot engineers. You'll be joining a small team that works on all components of the mobile app including Robotaxi, Vehicle, Energy, and Optimus. This uniqueand rare positionposes a wide array of technical challenges and rewards: you get to use and develop the best tools available to amplify developers across all organizations within Tesla that ship several mobile apps on multiple platforms.You will work on developer experience, continuous integration, build pipeline optimization, performance, reliability, App Store and Google Play integration, and infrastructure to help develop, test, deploy and iterate much more rapidly. You get to choose and use tools and technologies with significant latitude to help Tesla further its mission. What You'll Do Empower Developers to build, test, and iterate features faster and more reliably Delight Tesla customers with timely app updates Own, scale, and improve Tesla's Mobile App CI and Automation pipelines Make decisions on the real-world products delivered to customers Help build a world of amazing abundance Build and maintain a distributed compute system, running code on bare metal & cloud servers. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
