- You will design, develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs across LGUS.
- Partner with SH&E leadership, operations teams, and subject matter experts to identify training needs.
- Develop new safety training courses and update existing content to align with SHEQ standards, regulatory requirements, and operational risks.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate, consistent, and effective.
- Further, you will manage safety training courses, participant rosters, and training records within designated learning management systems.
- Maintain SH&E training platforms, including the SH&E training site and NESO Launch Pad.
- Support monthly safety meetings by preparing, organizing, and distributing training content and communications.
- Provide onboarding and training support for new SH&E managers and specialists on training systems, reporting tools, and compliance requirements.
- Track training completion, participation, and effectiveness; analyze trends and recommend improvements.
- And you will troubleshoot training system and data issues, partnering with system owners to implement enhancements.
- Ensure safety training programs support audit readiness and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement of training processes, systems, and content to strengthen organizational safety performance.
What makes you great
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Safety, Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in training program design, development, and administration.
- Experience developing safety, compliance, or technical training programs in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- You have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Knowledge of safety, SH&E, and compliance training requirements.
- Experience managing training content and learning management systems (LMS).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- You have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on training effectiveness and operational excellence.
