Basic Job Functions:

The Workforce Intelligence & AI Specialist is responsible for supporting workforce analytics, reporting, AI enablement, and people insights across Human Resources. This role develops and maintains workforce dashboards, reports, metrics, and visualizations that improve visibility into talent, learning, performance, engagement, succession, and workforce planning activities.

The role partners closely with HR leaders and business stakeholders to understand workforce information needs, analyze data, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights through reports, dashboards, presentations, and data visualizations.

The Workforce Intelligence & AI Specialist also supports the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, automation tools, and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, decision making, workforce readiness, and associate experiences.

Education/Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Psychology, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in workforce analytics, HR reporting, business intelligence, HR technology, talent management, learning systems, or related analytical roles.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, metrics, and visualizations using business intelligence or reporting tools.
  • Experience analyzing business data and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Excel, Oracle reporting tools, LMS reporting, or HRIS reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, Copilot, Power Automate, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
  • Experience supporting Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR, or workforce planning activities.
  • Manufacturing and/or global organization experience preferred.

  • Analytical Aptitude: Uses workforce data, reports, dashboards, and metrics to identify trends, answer business questions, and support data-driven decision making.

  • Functional Knowledge & Expertise: Develops and applies knowledge of HR, Talent Management, Learning, workforce planning, and people-related processes to support workforce intelligence initiatives.
  • Business Partnership:Works collaboratively with HR leaders, HR Business Partners, and business stakeholders to understand workforce needs and develop meaningful reporting and insights.

  • Creativity and Innovation: Identifies opportunities to improve reporting, analytics, processes, and user experiences through technology, automation, and emerging solutions.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Communicates data, findings, trends, and recommendations clearly through reports, dashboards, presentations, and visualizations tailored to multiple audiences.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Maintains awareness of emerging trends in workforce analytics, HR technology, AI, automation, and business intelligence and applies relevant learnings to improve outcomes.
  • Integrity: Ensures workforce data is handled responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Business Readiness: Supports workforce initiatives that help the organization understand capability needs and prepare for future talent and business requirements.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs

Essential Responsibilities:

Workforce Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and publish workforce dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, Oracle, and other reporting platforms.

  • Analyze workforce metrics related to talent, learning, performance, engagement, succession planning, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Build predictive and statistical models (e.g., flight-risk, hiring demand, skills-gap forecasting) to support proactive people decisions.

  • Create meaningful data visualizations that communicate workforce trends and business insights.

  • Validate workforce data and perform quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

  • Support the development and maintenance of workforce metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.

Workforce Intelligence & Insights

  • Support talent reviews, succession planning, learning effectiveness, performance management, and workforce planning initiatives through analytics and reporting.

  • Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that address business needs.

  • Develop executive-ready summaries that communicate workforce insights and recommendations.

AI, Technology & Process Improvement

  • Identify, evaluate, and pilot AI and generative-AI use cases across HR

  • Support evaluation, testing, adoption, and implementation of AI, automation, and workforce technology solutions.

  • Explore opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation, reporting enhancements, and technology improvements.

  • Assist with prompt development, AI pilots, and user enablement activities within the HR function.

  • Research emerging workforce technologies, AI solutions, and industry trends and share findings with HR leadership.

Governance & Data Quality

  • Maintain workforce reporting standards and documentation.

  • Support data governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI practices.

  • Partner with HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders to improve access to workforce data and reporting capabilities.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to the Senior Manager of Talent Management and Learning
  • This position will not have direct reports.

Travel:

  • 0% - 5% (On occasion/as needed for training, etc.)

Estimated Salary Range:

$80,700-$115,000 /annually
