About This Role
The Division of Biology and Kansas Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit at Kansas State University are seeking four full-time Research Technicians to join an extensive research program beginning August 2026, but start dates are flexible until January 2027. About Us The Division of Biology awards undergraduate degrees in three areas (Biology, Microbiology, and Fisheries, Wildlife & Conservation Biology) and currently serves over six hundred majors. The Kansas Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Unit conducts applied wildlife research throughout Kansas. Kansas State University is located in the city of Manhattan Worksite Description This position is On-site. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading field crews for an extensive research project on greater prairie-chicken demography, space use, habitat selection, response to Conservation Reserve Program land, and response to annual prescribed fire. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising daily activities of one to three Research Aides. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
