Hospitality Valet Lead

LAZ Parking is seeking a Hospitality Valet Lead to support daily valet operations at a luxury hotel location in Bellevue. This role serves as the primary point of contact for frontline team members during assigned shifts and helps maintain exceptional guest service standards, operational efficiency, and compliance with company and client expectations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys coaching team members, and is committed to delivering memorable guest experiences.

Location: Bellevue, WA

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time

Position Type: Operations / Team Leadership



What You'll Do

Operational Leadership



  • Oversee valet operations during assigned shifts and provide leadership support when management is unavailable.
  • Monitor traffic flow, staffing levels, and guest service performance throughout the day.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate priorities, service expectations, and operational updates.
  • Partner with hotel leadership and client representatives to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Escalate operational challenges and service-related matters as needed.


Team Support & Development



  • Coach and guide valet attendants on service standards, safety procedures, and daily responsibilities.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and guest satisfaction.
  • Recognize employee achievements and identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Reinforce company policies, attendance expectations, and workplace standards.


Service & Client Relations



  • Maintain a strong guest-first approach while supporting hotel brand standards.
  • Help drive service excellence through observation, feedback, and performance coaching.
  • Build positive relationships with hotel staff, guests, and client partners.
  • Support operational initiatives designed to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction scores.


Safety & Accountability



  • Champion workplace safety practices and ensure team adherence to established procedures.
  • Report incidents, vehicle claims, and safety concerns promptly.
  • Support loss prevention efforts and maintain accurate documentation when required.
  • Assist with achieving shift-level operational and financial goals.


Qualifications

Required



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving history.
  • Ability to maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.


Preferred



  • Previous experience leading or supervising teams in hospitality, valet, parking, or customer service environments.
  • Luxury hotel experience.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Experience managing guest interactions in high-volume settings.

Physical Requirements



  • Frequently stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods.
  • Ability to run short distances as necessary to support operations.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Bend, squat, reach, and twist throughout the workday.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including rain, heat, cold, and wind.
