The Quality Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of all machines in the Quality Lab, CMM Room and the Quality Testing Equipment on the production floor for the processing of incoming and outgoing product to specific acceptability standards. To keep accurate records and communicate results of product testing to all appropriate individuals/areas. Conduct audits as needed/directed. Understand how his/her role affects customer satisfaction and product safety. Perform all other duties as assigned.



  • Follow all safety rules at all times, using all PPE as required daily. Maintain proactive attention to safety, including keeping work area clean and healthy. Always inspect all equipment prior to use and report any discrepancies immediately.
  • Must perform according to company's values
  • Follow all work instructions, both written and verbal, along with the direction from the quality lead, quality engineer, and manager or designee. Must be able to organize and prioritize workloads to meet necessary deadlines; give advance notice and arrange to complete tasks in the case of foreseeable absences. Responsible and trustworthy individual must have proven record of successfully and effectively working with limited supervision.
  • Conduct analysis of products, raw materials, and processes. This includes, but is not limited to, lab testing, maintenance of laboratory equipment, product testing, SPC charting, record keeping, and problem solving. Must demonstrate basic computer skills in order to complete these tasks.
  • Must be able to keep all laboratory equipment and quality assurance areas clean and orderly according to the departments 5S standards.


Required Experience:



  • High School Diploma or FED Certification
  • Successful completion of basic skills test
  • 1-2 years manufacturing experience, required. Quality experience in manufacturing, preferred
  • Solid reading, writing, computer, and mathematical skills including decimals and fractions
  • Experience using, reading and interpreting precise measuring instruments
  • Works well with others on the team
