Production Technician

What you will enjoy doing*

• You
  will operate and control process units and equipment both in the field and
  from the control station to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally
  responsible operations
• You shall monitor plant performance for efficiency, proactively identifying
  and anticipating issues before they arise
• In this role you will coordinate work requests, permits, and equipment
  isolations, ensuring safe return to normal operations
• Additionally, provide frontline communication to customers and facility
  management regarding product and process conditions and supply status
• Take responsibility for maintaining production records and implementing
  standard operating procedures for starting and stopping major equipment to
  maintain reliability and prevent delays
• Furthermore, exercise sound judgment when making process decisions within
  established boundaries and contribute to improving and updating standard
  operating procedures

• You
  will demonstrate a strong commitment to personal safety, environmental
  accountability, and adherence to all safety programs and requirements
• You shall wear required personal protective equipment, comply with lockout
  and tagout policy, and issue, monitor, and close out safe work and confined
  space permits
• In addition you should be knowledgeable and practiced in all emergency
  procedures while supporting safety initiatives such as safety inspections,
  incident reporting, and behaviorbased safety programs
• Assist in the development and execution of safe standard operating
  procedures, work a rotating schedule with oncall responsibilities, and
  support shift coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Additionally, maintain facility housekeeping, participate in turnaround
  planning and execution, and assist with routine maintenance and process
  safety management activities
• You are recognized for maintaining training compliance
• You are able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including
  confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at
  heights
• You will be available to work extended hours when business needs arise
• Furthermore, you demonstrate the flexibility to support weekend, holiday,
  and callin coverage
• You ensure a reliable and safetyfocused presence during critical
  operational periods
