The University of Arizona Athletics Department invites you to apply to the role of the Analyst, Baseball - Hitting and Recruiting. The Analyst, Baseball - Hitting and Recruiting will be working under the direction of the Head Coach, Baseball to ensure all program goals and needs are met.

This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in all data collection and dissemination of information to
    coaches and players.
  • Assist with practice plan preparation as well as offensive
    and defensive game planning.
  • Assist with hitting instruction and daily prep work of
    players.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive recruiting board and
    scheduling of coaches to see prospective student athletes.
  • Assist with all on campus recruiting visits.
  • Budget accountability.
  • Addiitonal duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Skilled
    in evaluating players' ability to succeed at Big 12 caliber school.
  • Knowledge
    of position related NCAA, Big 12, and University of Arizona rules and
    compliance.
  • Excellent
    verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability
    to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
  • Dedication
    and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects.
  • Meticulous
    attention to detail.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment through respectful and effective communication.
  • Demonstrated
    organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities
    and successfully manage multiple priority projects.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in college or professional baseball.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in recruiting and evaluating college and high school level baseball players.
  • Experience with coaching.
