Job Description

The Director of Applied Behavior Intervention Services (ABIS) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across all ABIS service lines. This role is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the overall operations of the ABIS Division, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ABIS processes and services
  • Provide direct clinical care across ABIS service lines, modeling best practices and maintaining high standards of care
  • Interpret and communicate policies and procedures, advising and supporting team members to promote consistency and understanding
  • Collaborate with divisions across the center, internal departments, and external partners to enhance efficiency, coordination, and service delivery
  • Contribute to short- and long-term strategic planning efforts to support optimal patient outcomes and operational performance
  • Allocate resources effectively and establish daily priorities to meet clinical and operational objectives
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development
  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by managing budgets, monitoring resource utilization, and supporting financially sustainable operations while maintaining high-quality care
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day operational and clinical challenges using sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Drive improvements in team performance, quality, efficiency, and overall impact of the ABIS Division
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, setting expectations, delivering feedback, and managing sensitive or complex issues with discretion
  • Ensure consistency and clarity in messaging across internal and external communications

Shift

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $80,000 - $93,000 annually.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
