Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and code invoices to ensure on-time payments
- Adhere to department performance metrics, policy, procedures, and internal controls.
- Communicate with vendors and internal personnel to resolve invoice disputes.
- Reconcile invoice statements.
- Research and perform vendor data analysis as needed.
- Support audit requests and other special projects as required.
- Assist in month-end closing; including journal support and accruals.
- Knowledgeable of the accounts payable process including general ledger terminology and the general accrual process.
- Develop and maintain successful and positive relationships with business leaders and managers within the organization.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, Associate's degree is a plus
- Ability to plan and
manage time to meet tight deadlines - Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing circumstances

Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Location: Belleville, IL
