Schedule: 5AM- Close- Sunday through Wednesday- Off days of Thurs/Friday

Position Summary

The primary role of the Merchandiser is to effectively service retail accounts in a safe, productive, and professional manner by ensuring proper inventory levels are maintained, products are displayed according to standards, and stock is rotated correctly at both large and small-format retail locations. This role also supports sales initiatives by building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to increase product visibility and sales.


Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management


  • Ensure products are properly rotated and maintained in accordance with inventory rotation standards to minimize expired, damaged, or unsellable product.



  • Maintain equipment and merchandising assets to company standards, ensuring they are clean, operational, and professionally presented.




Merchandising & Execution


  • Execute merchandising standards, programs, and in-store routines.



  • Maintain records required for compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, including driver logs, mileage records, training documentation, and other required records.



  • Monitor competitor activities, including new product launches, pricing changes, and promotional activity, and communicate findings to management.



  • Build, protect, and grow product distribution and shelf presence within assigned accounts.



  • Notify the appropriate sales representative or manager regarding damaged, expired, out-of-stock, or returnable products, as well as opportunities to improve product placement and distribution.



  • Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with store managers and retail personnel.




Teamwork & Professionalism


  • Collaborate with sales team members to execute promotional programs and merchandising displays.



  • Share best practices and work collaboratively across departments.



  • Lead by example and consistently uphold company standards and values.



  • Represent the company professionally through responsible driving practices and positive interactions in the marketplace.




Minimum Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED required.



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.



  • Ability to present information, participate in role-playing exercises, and interact effectively with customers.



  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.



  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.



  • Proficiency with smartphone and mobile technology.



  • Ability to assess inventory levels and merchandising opportunities.



  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.



  • Excellent time management skills and reliability.



  • Fluent in English.



  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.



  • Must be at least 18 years of age.



  • Reliable personal vehicle available for work-related travel with required insurance coverage.




Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous merchandising, retail, customer service, or sales support experience.



  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.




Physical Requirements


  • Regularly use hands to handle, grasp, or feel objects and materials.



  • Frequently walk and sit throughout the workday.



  • Occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.



  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.



  • Ability to perform tasks requiring close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.



  • Work in environments that may include moving mechanical equipment and varying outdoor weather conditions.



  • Ability to work in moderate noise-level environments.




Travel Requirements


  • Local travel between assigned retail accounts is required.



  • Must maintain reliable transportation and meet all company driving requirements.
