As we continue to evolve, we're seeking a Director, Planning Process & Analytics to lead and continuously improve the core planning processes that support our business. The Director, Planning Process & Analytics serves as the business process owner across planning functions, driving process excellence, systems integration, and analytics capabilities that maximize On-Time In-Full (DIFOT) performance, improve visibility into business operations, and minimize costs. This role partners across merchandising, planning, sourcing, production, logistics, finance, and IT to ensure planning processes, systems, and team execution are aligned with business objectives and growth strategies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in planning processes, operational analytics, and cross-functional leadership. They will lead the development of core metrics, reporting, and analytics capabilities that support both Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), while building a culture of data-driven decision-making and developing analytical capabilities across the organization. What You'll Do Lead Business Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as the enterprise owner of core planning processes across merchandising, demand planning, supply planning, production, inventory management, and related functions.
- Define, document, and maintain standardized planning workflows while establishing governance routines that drive consistency, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes, eliminate manual work, and support business objectives, margin goals, and growth strategies.
Drive Systems Integration & Process Alignment
- Partner to lead the end-to-end integration of planning systems, including ERP, PLM, forecasting, and business intelligence tools.
- Translate business requirements into system enhancements, automation opportunities, and improved data integrity.
- Ensure alignment between system workflows and team execution through training, SOPs, change management, and adoption of new technologies.
Optimize Operational Performance & Visibility
- Build and maintain the operational framework that maximizes On-Time In-Full (DIFOT) performance across wholesale, direct-to-consumer, and production channels.
- Improve visibility into supply, demand, inventory, and production through scalable reporting, dashboards, and operational processes.
- Partner with sourcing, production, and logistics teams to identify bottlenecks, reduce delays, and improve operational efficiency.
Lead S&OP, S&OE & Business Analytics
- Develop and institutionalize the metrics required to manage the business through Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE).
- Own the analytical backbone of the planning process, including demand signals, supply constraints, inventory projections, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
- Lead the analytics cadence that supports executive and operational decision-making while ensuring alignment on KPIs, definitions, and data sources.
Build Organizational Analytics Capability
- Serve as a planning analytics leader, elevating analytical capabilities across planning, merchandising, finance, and operations.
- Develop training programs that strengthen forecasting, data interpretation, visualization, and advanced analytics skills.
- Mentor planners and analysts while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Lead KPI Development, Reporting & Strategic Insights
- Define and maintain enterprise KPI frameworks for planning, inventory, production, and fulfillment.
- Build scalable reporting structures that deliver actionable insights and support business priorities.
- Partner with leadership to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
Drive Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development
- Act as a key partner across planning, merchandising, sourcing, production, logistics, finance, and IT to align processes and business objectives.
- Lead change management efforts related to new processes, systems, and analytics capabilities.
- Coordinate financial forecasting activities supporting wholesale sales and direct-to-consumer plans.
- Develop, mentor, and lead team members while partnering with Human Resources on hiring, performance management, and employee development.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business, Planning, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in forecasting, inventory planning, buying, or related planning functions, preferably within apparel, retail, or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, financial planning, and retail math, including open-to-buy, margin management, and comparative analysis.
- Experience leading, developing, and mentoring teams while driving cross-functional collaboration and organizational change.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, planning, and process management capabilities, with experience translating business objectives into scalable processes and operational improvements.
- Experience with system implementations, upgrades, and enterprise planning tools, including ERP, PLM, MRP, databases, and reporting platforms; CGS Blue Cherry experience is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, solve complex problems, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
