Location: Aberdeen, MD

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday | 7:00 AM Start Time (8-10-hour shifts)

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate a CDL Class A Day cab with 53' dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers to deliver food service, bakery, and restaurant products.
• Transport and deliver a variety of freight, including sauces, meats, cleaning products, flour, sugar, and other Italian and bakery supplies.
• Complete 5-10 delivery stops per day to restaurants, bakeries, stores, and other customer locations.
• Perform heavy touch freight deliveries, unloading products by hand as well as with pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Move pallets to customer receiving areas, break down pallets, stock products, and place deliveries in designated locations.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 60-65 lbs., including bags of flour and sugar.
• Consistently handle physical unloading duties at every stop in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with customers, dispatch, and warehouse personnel.
• Verify deliveries, complete required paperwork, obtain customer signatures, and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and safely secure freight during transport.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1-year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
