Position Summary: The Stock Associate is responsible for organizing and maintaining merchandise inventory to support retail operations. This position receives and processes incoming shipments, maintains stockroom organization, replenishes merchandise on the sales floor, fulfills customer orders, and assists in maintaining an exceptional shopping experience for guests.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Additional duties may be assigned)
- Receive and unpack merchandise deliveries.
- Inspect incoming merchandise for damage and process second-quality items according to company procedures.
- Print and apply price tags or labels to merchandise as needed.
- Enter inventory information using RF scan guns and inventory management software.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
- Replenish merchandise on the sales floor and assist with merchandising projects and floor moves.
- Return misplaced merchandise to its proper location throughout the store.
- Pack and ship customer orders using approved shipping systems and procedures.
- Fulfill customer and store orders accurately and efficiently.
- Dispose of empty boxes, packaging materials, pallets, and trash in accordance with company guidelines.
- Assist customers and team members as needed to support daily store operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work as required to meet business needs.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software.
- Ability to learn store layout and merchandise locations.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices to help prevent workplace injuries.

Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
- Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
- Ability to perform work requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and coordination with others in a retail environment.
Environmental Conditions Work is performed in both retail sales floor and stockroom environments with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and frequent customer interaction.
