Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Agreement Management Organization is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as an Agreement Specialist.

You will serve as an Agreement Specialist, who is responsible for the planning, preparation, negotiation, submission, and execution of all agreements used in obtaining Laboratory services by industry, academia, and other government agencies.

You will report to the Manager, Agreements Management.

Our team works an on-site 9x80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls, EROB facility with every other Friday off!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the identification process to determine appropriate Department of Energy approved contract mechanisms including CRADA, SPP, and ACT.
  • Manages all contracts from pre-planning and negotiation stages through to completion and closeout.
  • Provide direction and assistance to Laboratory clients in development of contracts and scopes of work along with other applicable documentation. Prepare required documentation for DOE review and approval.

Minimum Requirements:

Level 2: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, finance, legal or other contracts related field and at least 2 years of professional level experience or an advanced degree plus 1 year of professional level experience required.

Level 3: Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, finance, legal or other contracts related field and at least 5 years of professional level experience or an advanced degree plus 3 years of professional level experience required.

Job Information

The pay range for this position is: Level 2-Salary Grade 420 ($57,444 - $112,068) / Level 3-Salary Grade 430 ($66,504 - $136,356). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials

  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and the selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, use hands to handle materials, manipulate tools, keyboard and type, reach with hands and arms, and operate job-related equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Sufficient visual acuity and hearing capacity to perform the essential functions and interact with people is required.
