The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision making, and program management. SSAG integrates deep client knowledge, advanced analytics, and subject matter expertise to provide timely and objective technical, operational, programmatic, acquisition, and policy analysis. SSAG is immediately hiring for Senior Military Operations Analyst at SPA Headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level expertise, strategic vision, and business growth leadership across the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) enterprise, leveraging extensive Department of War, Joint Staff, Air Force, and National Leadership C3 experience to identify emerging mission priorities, shape customer strategies, and expand SPA's role in advancing national security objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between government NC3 stakeholders and SPA SSAG and ORCA teams, providing subject matter expertise on NC3 modernization, strategic deterrence, and nuclear enterprise operations while aligning customer requirements with innovative analytical, modeling, and capability development solutions.
- Support the application and integration of advanced modeling, simulation, and analytical capabilities-including ArcherEye and Nuclear Enterprise Activity Models-providing expert analysis to assess NC3 architectures, evaluate modernization alternatives, inform strategic decision-making, and support future capability investments across OSW, the Air Force, Navy, Joint Staff, and broader nuclear deterrence enterprise.
- Advise senior government, military, and industry leaders on NC3 modernization, strategic deterrence, and nuclear enterprise integration, providing recognized expertise and fostering collaboration across the Department of War, interagency, and industry communities to address complex operational challenges, strengthen mission assurance, and advance critical national security capabilities.
Lead analysis of analytical, experiential, and educational wargames for the White House Military Office and mission partners. Integrate expert analysis with world class technology tools to evaluate new operational concepts, identify vulnerabilities, and explore innovative solutions to operational challenges.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work at SPA HQ in Alexandria, VA.
- Active TS/SCI.
- 20 years of experience driving mission-critical readiness, communications resilience, and national-level crisis response.
- White House and Joint Staff experience.
- In depth expertise in NC3 systems to include nuclear C2 systems.
- Six or more years of related work experience with MA/MS degree or higher (additional years of relevant experience may be substituted) in STEM, Business, Statistics, International Relations, Military Studies, Political Science, National Security, Government Economics or related field of study.
